Kleana AfricaClean.Trusted.Everywhere.

For cleaners, nannies and housekeepers

Get listed. It costs you nothing.

Kleana never takes a cut of your pay. Not once, not monthly, not ever. The client pays to be introduced to you, and your name and number stay private until you agree to the introduction.

Put Kleana on your phone. It opens like an app and works when the signal is poor.

Apply

Put yourself on the listings

Fill this in and we send a six-digit code to your email. Nothing is saved anywhere until you type that code back - so nobody can list you but you.

The six-digit code goes here. Nothing is saved until you type it back.

What you do

Your listing sits on that city's board and is read by the agents there.

Put the number you actually work for. It is published as you set it.

These came across from the jobs you saved. Nothing to copy out.

What you get. A listing that homes, offices and businesses actually browse, your own rate published as you set it, and a Charter the client signed too - so what is expected of them is written down before you walk in.

Getting to Verified

Everyone starts as Declared. To carry the Verified Shield and sit at the top of the listings, we need two things from you.

A Kleana operator at a desk, on the phone to a former employer, with an identity card and a signed reference in front of her
01Your Omang or passport

A copy, seen by a person here. It is checked, it is never published, and it is never passed to a client.

02One long-term employer we can call

Somebody you worked for over a real stretch of time. We phone them and confirm how long you were there. That confirmed tenure goes on your listing, and it is the single thing clients look at hardest.

Getting listed

What you need, and what it costs you

Listing on Kleana is free and it stays free. Kleana never takes a share of your pay.

From filling the form to being introduced

  1. Fill the form and accept the CharterThe Charter protects you as much as the household. It states in writing that the work is professional and nothing else.
  2. Confirm the emailed codeNothing about you is stored anywhere until you type the code back. If you walk away, nothing is kept.
  3. Your listing goes up without your nameHouseholds see your area, your duties, your rate and your verification level. They do not see your name, your photograph or your number.
  4. Ask for Verified if you want itShow the Omang or passport and give one long-term former employer. A person here calls them and confirms how long you worked.
  5. A household pays to be introducedThey pay Kleana once. You pay nothing, then or ever.
  6. You agree your own termsDays, hours, duties, pay and time off, settled between the two of you before the first day.
