A cleaner
Named only if she wants to be. What she does, how long she has done it, what she was doing before, and what a good household looks like from her side of it.
In partnership with Cabanga Africa Group · Monthly · Free
The Kleana Monthly is published in partnership with Cabanga Africa Group and is available across every market Kleana covers - Botswana, South Africa, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Kleana sees what a clean home and a working arrangement actually cost, city by city, month by month. That gets written up, it runs across the twelve Cabanga Africa Group editions with Kleana Africa cited as the source, and at the end of each month the whole set is collected into one download you can keep.

The current issue
Issue 01 · out at the end of October 2026
Published with Cabanga Africa Group and circulating in all four Kleana markets. The first issue collects the network's pieces - what a day rate looks like in Gaborone against Lusaka, what a live-in agreement should say before anyone moves in, and the first agent and cleaner profiles. It is being written now and will appear on this page the day it is finished.
How it is put together
One piece a month per market, written from what actually happens on this platform - what households in a particular city are paying, what goes wrong in the first fortnight, what a live-in arrangement should have in writing.
Each piece runs in the Cabanga Africa Group magazine for that market and cites Kleana Africa as the source. That is how a platform in Gaborone ends up being read in Lusaka and Harare without buying a single advertisement.
The month's pieces are collected into a single PDF and published here. It is free, it asks for an email address and nothing else, and an agent can hand it to a company as easily as a household can read it on a phone.
What is inside each issue
One page
Named only if she wants to be. What she does, how long she has done it, what she was doing before, and what a good household looks like from her side of it.
One page
Who she places, in which town, and how the work actually runs - the part of this trade that has never been written about anywhere.
One page
A shop, a salon, a surgery or a guest house, and what changed about the premises once the cleaning stopped being somebody's afterthought.
The back pages
What to agree before the first day, what a fair notice period is, what to check in a live-in agreement, and what things cost this month.
The twelve
Every piece that ran across the Cabanga network that month, in one place, with the edition each one appeared in.
Standing
The full Professional Charter in the back of every issue, so the thing both sides sign travels with the magazine.
